INTRODUCING GCSE WORKSHOPS

Here at NexStep Learning, we don’t only run lessons with the integration of NLP for ease of learning and retention, wellbeing and fun, we also run workshops. Workshops are a great way of learning for students. It gives students the opportunity to meet up with, and work with fellow students from a variety of different places. Some students may even know each other. This small workshop style of working is often new to students, and is a real-life example of teamwork in the working world – preparing them for their next stage in life. Each workshop targets the 40 marker writing questions on the English Language exam paper:  Creative Writing, Writing for Purpose, and Technical Accuracy. The Technical Accuracy is a requirement of all written exams and will therefore support learners in achieving improved writing skills to build the marks in all written subjects. All sessions are run online, in small groups of up to 6. Each workshop is just £50pp!

All workshops are being run online, with regular breaks and with the use of breakout rooms when required to facilitate the opportunity to practice the skills as we go.
