(GCSE English) Elizabeth was a great help with our daughter. She had to retake her GCSE English Lang in November but due to timetable clashes at her school she could not attend the retake lessons in the sixth form. Luckily for us we were able to book a series of lessons (multiple ones each week) over a number of weeks before the exam.
Our daughter found Elizabeth an excellent teacher because she explained how to answer the exams questions in a way that she understood, which the school had failed to do over two years. Our daughter is very strong on the Maths front and I think the quote from her ‘Elizabeth has taught me the formula to answer the questions’ says it all. The formula being to approach English with inquisitiveness and thrill rather than the robotic fashion in school. As a result she passed her re-take and we are very pleased.
